Please read these terms carefully before using Civizen. By creating an account or using any part of the app, you agree to these terms.
Who we are
Civizen is an independent web application that helps people prepare for the US naturalization civics test. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to USCIS or any US government agency.

What Civizen is and is not
Civizen is a civics test preparation tool. It is not a legal service, immigration consultancy, or official government resource.
Using Civizen does not guarantee that you will pass the USCIS civics test or be approved for US citizenship. The app is designed to help you study and practice — the outcome of your naturalization process depends on many factors outside our control.
If you need legal advice about your immigration case or naturalization process, consult a licensed immigration attorney or accredited representative.
Your account
Creating an account
You must provide a valid email address and a password of at least 8 characters to create an account. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account.
If you believe your account has been compromised, notify us immediately at ciudadaniatestapp@gmail.com.
Account eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this requirement.
Accurate information
You agree to provide accurate information when creating your account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that provide false information.
Free and Pro plans
Free plan
The free plan gives you access to Study mode and one practice test per calendar day (reset at midnight US Eastern Time). No payment is required.
Pro plan
The Pro plan is available as a one-time payment. Upgrading to Pro gives you unlimited practice tests and removes ads. There are no recurring charges — you pay once and your Pro access does not expire.
Refund policy
Because Pro is a one-time digital purchase that provides immediate access to all Pro features, all sales are final. We do not offer refunds.
If you experience a technical issue that prevents you from accessing Pro features after a successful payment, contact us at ciudadaniatestapp@gmail.com and we will resolve it promptly.
Payment processing
Payments are processed securely by Stripe. Civizen does not store your payment card details. By completing a purchase, you also agree to Stripe's Terms of Service.
Acceptable use
You agree to use Civizen only for its intended purpose — preparing for the US naturalization civics test — and in compliance with all applicable laws.
You agree not to:
- Attempt to access, modify, or disrupt any part of Civizen's systems or infrastructure
- Use automated tools, bots, or scrapers to access the app or its content
- Resell, redistribute, or republish Civizen's content or question data without permission
- Attempt to bypass the free plan's daily test limit through technical means
- Use the app in any way that could harm other users or the integrity of the service
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules without prior notice.
Content and intellectual property
USCIS civics questions
The civics questions and answers in Civizen are sourced from official USCIS publications. These are government-produced materials not subject to copyright under US law. We present them as-is, without modification to the official answers.
Civizen's own content
All other content in Civizen — including the app design, interface, copy, study tools, and original written content — is owned by Civizen and may not be copied, reproduced, or used without permission.
Disclaimers
No guarantee of results
Civizen is a study tool. We make no guarantee that using the app will result in passing the USCIS civics test or in approval of your naturalization application.
Accuracy of content
We make every effort to keep the civics questions and answers current and accurate. However, some answers — particularly those involving current officeholders — change due to elections and appointments. You are responsible for verifying that the answers you study reflect the current officeholders at the time of your interview.

Service availability
We aim to keep Civizen available and functioning at all times, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. We are not liable for any damages resulting from downtime, data loss, or interruptions in service.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Civizen and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of — or inability to use — the app, including but not limited to damages related to the outcome of your naturalization process.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these terms or your use of Civizen shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page. For material changes, we may notify you by email. Continued use of Civizen after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
If you do not agree with updated terms, you may stop using the app and request account deletion by contacting us at ciudadaniatestapp@gmail.com.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
